We supply 7/0.2mm dia cable in 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in either Heat Resistant PVC, PFA, Fibreglass or Fibreglass with Stainless Steel braiding overall. The cores are laid flat and then overall sheathed in the same material with an optional stainless steel braiding for the fibreglass version. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meets IEC 60584-1 Class 2 : 2013 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is colour coded to IEC 60584-3 : 2007 as shown below.
- 7/0.2mm dia laid flat and overall sheathed construction
- Heat Resistant PVC rated to 105°C, PFA rated to 250°C and Fibreglass rated to 480°C
- Colour coded :-
Type KX extension cable: green outer sheath, green positive core and white negative core
Type KCB compensating cable: green outer sheath, green positive core and white negative core
Type TX extension cable: brown outer sheath, brown positive core and white negative core
Type JX extension cable: black outer sheath, black positive core and white negative core
Type NX extension cable: pink outer sheath, pink positive core and white negative core
Type RCA/SCA compensating cable: orange outer sheath, orange positive core and white negative core
